Exhibition and Workshop on Future of Media Art and Computer Entertainment in Nepal
The theme of this event is "Entertainment for the Whole World", same to ACE2012 conference, and the aim is to introduce technologies on new media art and computer entertainment,which are especially active in Japan, to young people in Nepal. Making young people in emerging worlds not only a consumer but also a creator of digital entertainment is very important to create a new cultural exchange. We hope that this exhibition becomes a trigger for young people.
Call for demos, art works, workshops and short talk
We call for demos, art works and workshops on art and entertainment with technologies. Up to five thousands audience (depends on number of works) including children living in villages near Kathmandu will experience your works. Not only the audience's but also your creativity will be stimulated by this experience. We also have cooperation of Robotics Association of Nepal (RAN). The members of RAN are young people who is specially interested in latest technologies including robotics, computers, media. More than thirty volunteer will help to exhibit your work, especially on Saturday, the ACE2012 oral session time.

- From airport to WTC (demo venue) on Thursday (Nov. 1) and Friday (Nov. 2) on your arrival.
- From WTC to official hotels at the end of the demo time on Friday and Saturday (Nov. 3).
- From official hotels to WTC at the morning of Friday and Saturday.
- WTC to the conference hotel before the starting of the oral sessions on Saturday.
- Installation, exhibition and Packing
- WTC will open from the noon of Thursday Nov. 1. During night time the venue will be locked. Volunteer from RAN will help installation, demonstration and explanation and packing. They will also be able to run your exhibition by themselves during conference time. Please teach them how to run your exhibition during on Friday.

メディアアートとコンピュータエンタテインメントの未来展 in ネパール
本展示会は、国際会議ACE2012と同じ「Entertainment for the Whole World」をテーマに掲げ、日本で特に研究が盛んなメディアアート、コンピュータエンタテインメントの技術をネパールの若者達に紹介することが第１の目的です。 新興国の若者をデジタルエンタテイメントの消費者にだけではなく創造者にすることは、新たな文化交流を作り出すことにつながり大変重要です。本展示会がそのきっかけになればと考えています。
デモ、作品、ワークショップ、ショートトーク募集
メディア技術に関係したアートとエンタテインメントのデモ、作品、ワークショップを募集します。カトマンズ近郊の村の子供たちを含む5千人ほど（展示の数に応じて調整します）の観客が集まる予定です。 観客だけでなく出展者自身の創造性をも刺激するイベントになると期待しています。 この展示会には、ネパールロボット協会が協力してくださる事になりました。ネパールロボット協会は、ロボット、コンピュータ、メディアなどの先端技術が大好きな若者の集まりで、30人以上のボランティアメンバーが展示を補助する予定です。特に土曜日のACE2012のセッション中には、ボランティアメンバーだけでの展示をお願いできる予定です。 また、このイベントの梗概集(英語)を出版する予定です。 このリンクから、出展申し込みをお願いいたします。

午後3:00-6:00は非公開にして、ACE2012のCreative Showcaseのコアタイムとします。ACE2012の参加者全員がWTCに集まります。

- 設営、展示、撤収
- WTCは11月1日(木)の昼から設営できる予定です。
- 夜間は鍵をかけます。
- RAN(ネパールロボット協会)のボランティアは、設営、説明、撤収を手伝ってくれます。昼食や会議時間中は、ボランティアだけで展示ができる予定です。（金曜日に展示のし方を教えてください。）
